Shannon has retired from NCAA Gymnastics.  Prior to SCSU she competed for Arena gymnastics in Hamilton, NJ, coached by Ann Kolasa, Valdi Kolasa,  and Wes Marutani.  Shannon was also team captain for the South Brunswick HS Gymnastics team.
